124 Women Entrepreneurs Graduate from Business Incubator Programme
A total of 124 women entrepreneurs from across Belize have completed the incubator phase of the “Catalyse Her Potential: Fuelling Female Entrepreneurship Project.” This is an initiative aimed at strengthening female-led businesses and providing women entrepreneurs with the tools needed to launch and grow successful enterprises.

The programme, implemented by NIME Belize Inc. in collaboration with IDB Lab, focused on providing early-stage female entrepreneurs with business planning, development skills, mentorship opportunities, and a platform to network and exchange ideas with other women in business.
Graduates represented all six districts, with the highest participation coming from the Belize District with 50 graduates. The remaining graduates included 24 from Cayo, 21 from Toledo, 11 from Orange Walk, 10 from Stann Creek, and eight from Corozal.
Following the completion of the incubator programme, 91 participants advanced to the accelerator phase, which began on July 13. The next stage will focus on helping established female-led businesses scale through growth strategies, financial preparedness, access to industry experts, mentorship, and potential investment opportunities.
The project includes three main components: capacity building through a learning management system, networking opportunities to connect entrepreneurs with mentors and industry professionals, and a seed capital component designed to provide micro-financing support for women-owned businesses.
