16-Year-Old Charged in Ladyville Robbery

Police in Ladyville have formally arrested and charged a 16‑year‑old minor for the crime of robbery.

The charge follows an incident on Wednesday, December 10, in Ladyville involving three male individuals. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police Stacy Smith, “A group of three male persons were observed accosting another individual, and they later went into a building and accosted two more individuals, where they stole from them a number of items, and at the time they had in their possession a firearm.”

Smith said officers responded quickly and were able to apprehend one of the suspects. “On his persons, they recovered proceeds of that robbery,” she reported.

The minor has since been formally charged, while police continue to seek two additional men in connection with the case.
