18-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle RTA

Eighteen-year-old motorcyclist Miguel Noel Montoya died this morning after colliding with a tow-head truck near Mile 11 on the Northern Highway. The crash occurred just after 10:40 a.m., authorities said.

According to family, the teenager was travelling home from work when the collision occurred. His uncle, Alberto Montoya, said: “When I get to know my brother came to my house and tell me that his son dead out yah, so drive for me. When we get here, we see the body.”

Alberto said his nephew had been riding motorcycles for some time and was wearing a helmet.

The family described him as a good kid with no children. “The only thing we would want to see him back, but we can’t see him no more,” Alberto added.

Montoya lived not too far from his work site.
