Haile Selassie Celebration Returns Saturday Night

This Saturday, the message is simple: One Love. Reggae music, culture and community will come together for the annual Haile Selassie 134th Earthstrong Night Celebration. But organizer Ras Reuben says the event is not just about good music. It is about honoring history, celebrating identity and reminding Belizeans of the power of unity. He shares what the night will bring.

“This is King Selassie’s Earth Day. His 134^th Earthstrong. We celebrate this every year. He is our divine leader. This weekend we are having Kenny Gladden and the New Creation Band, DJ Black, Brick City, Jahlock. We are also having a number of artists Ras Sherman, Ras Jalac, Bongo Farai, Reddadan, Unlimited, and Ras Indio, and a couple more artists that’s just to name a few. The event will be at BTL Park from 6 pm until 12. Come out bring your children and bring your family. It will be a cultural event. A lot ah cultural things food, drinks, and everything, and give thanks to all the people weh support this thing and weh mek it possible and all the people weh sponsor this thing.
