BCCI Says Politicians Won’t Tie Their Own Hands
BCCI President Giacomo Sanchez is not sparing either side of the political aisle. He says both the previous and current administrations have dragged their feet on implementing UNCAC, and he believes the reason is that politicians do not want to tie their own hands. Sanchez argues that without real political will, Belize continues to fall short on anti-corruption reform, and that failure is hurting the country’s reputation abroad.
