“You will have the opportunity to explore and interact climate action, innovation, technology, creativity, conservation, and inclusion. When I mean inclusion, I mean everybody at all ages. But with that, I would like to summarize two things, the days and also the style of how we set Climate Week. We like to bring the conference of parties that we do participate every year to negotiate climate change to Belize. We call it the blue zone and the green zone. The green zone is where we showcase and interact with our experts through panel discussions. And the green zone is where we exhibit and present our booths from our organizations and also line ministries. And during the days, we have the opening ceremony, but we’ll start with a big parade. So we invite all our community members to participate and the officially opening ceremony. The second day will be the orange economy and creativity. And then the third day, we have the forest and agriculture sector. And the last day will be the blue spaces and technology.”
This year’s theme, “Where Innovation Meets Impact: Driving Resilience, Scaling Technology and Expanding Inclusion in Climate Action,” was selected through a national competition won by a young Belizean.
