Police Officer Missing For More Than A Week
The family of 24-year-old police officer Kenyon Barrow is asking for the public’s help in locating him after he stopped communicating with them and became unreachable.
Barrow’s mother, Therese Robinson, says her son has been dealing with personal issues “off and on” and that she has previously sought assistance from the police department to address them. She says he had stopped reporting to work and told her he was not interested in returning.
Robinson says she last spoke to Kenyon on September 8. She later became concerned about information she received about where her son had been staying and travelled to the area. She says she learned that Kenyon had been residing in the Blackwater area of Orange Walk Town and went looking for him.
“This is not the first time Kenyon has done something like that, but this is the first time he has gone completely silent,” Robinson says. She adds that his phone is now dead and that she has not been able to reach him.
“I just want from him, if he said if he’s okay, to communicate with us and let us know that he’s okay because everybody’s concerned about him,” she says.
The family has reported Kenyon missing to police and is asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he may be to contact police or call 609-0492.
