Multiple Dead on Coastal Road

Graphic images obtained by News 5 show at least three persons lying motionless at the scene of an incident on the Coastal Plains Highway.

Investigators are still processing the scene near mile 21. Police have restricted access to part of the highway.

The victims were travelling in a red SUV that is now riddled with bullets.

One of the victims has been identified as Lloyd Leslie Jr., a labourer of #5 Bocotora Street, Belize City.

The highway is expected to remain closed until crime scene investigators complete processing of the scene.

This is a developing story.
