No Breakthrough Yet in Jones Double Murder

It’s been over a month since the brutal double murder of Evadnie Jones and her son Luke Jones in Belize City, and police are still searching for answers. The July fifth tragedy shocked the community, and tonight, investigators remain tight-lipped about any leads. Commissioner of Police Dr. Richard Rosado says they’re working tirelessly to identify those responsible, but so far, no breakthrough. Here’s what he told reporters earlier today.

“Well I do know that the investigators are trying to put together the evidential material they have collected. They are still trying to establish who the individuals are that are responsible for the shooting. So, it is still an ongoing investigation.”

“And in terms of Pato Jones, have you guys made connection with him?”

“Well we do know that he is in the U.S. We have not confirmed if he has returned to Belize. But, we do believe he is still in the U.S.”
