Ex-Boyfriend Fires Gun During Domestic Dispute

Police are seeking Dwayne Tillett following a domestic incident in North Creek in Belize City on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Aliyah Jones reported that her ex-boyfriend came to her home and pointed a gun at her. Assistant Commissioner Hilberto Romero said, “A confrontation, at which Dwayne Tillett pulled out a firearm and pointed it in her direction and pulled the trigger, but the gun snapped.”

Romero confirmed that no injuries were reported from the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Tillett’s whereabouts to come forward. “We are seeking Dwayne Tillett regarding this report,” Romero said.
