BRWMA Announces New Executive Board

The Belize Recyclers and Waste Management Association (BRWMA) has elected new leadership at its Second Annual General Meeting, held on Thursday, August 14, at the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management’s auditorium.

The new Executive Board includes President Luis Garcia of Eco-Friendly Solutions Ltd, Deputy President William Usher of Green Care Products Ltd, Treasurer Jexon Martinez of Scorpion Auto Service & Parts, Deputy Treasurer Raymont Tyree of San Pedro Recycling, Secretary Helen Choco of Crafty Hands Atelier, Deputy Secretary Berndina Eck, and Executive Member James Nisbet of Belize Waste Control.

Members also approved a staggered-term election system, under which directors will serve two-year terms, with half the board elected each year.
