Authorities Intensify Search for Missing Honduran
Authorities in Honduras are intensifying efforts to locate Nigel Miller, who has been missing at sea for over 36 hours after departing from Útila en route to Roatán.
The mayor of Útila, Alex Ebanks, together with the mayor of Roatán, Ron McNab, and Congressman Raymond Cherington, have coordinated the deployment of an aircraft to strengthen ongoing search and rescue operations. The Naval Force has also been actively involved in the search, but so far, Miller has not been located.
Belizean boaters are being asked to be on the lookout, as Miller’s last known location is believed to be in Belizean waters
Friends and local fishermen have been urged to assist in the search, as experts believe that weather conditions may have driven Miller’s boat off course. His family has appealed to the public for any information that could help bring him home safely.
