Celebrating the Future of Hospitality

This evening, the heart of Belize City came alive with celebration as the Lord Ashcroft Conference Centre officially opened its doors. The launch event, held at the newly revitalised Radisson Fort George, showcased Belize’s commitment to elevating its hospitality and tourism offerings through innovation, culture, and collaboration.

Guests were welcomed into the venue with warmth and anticipation.

Scott McArdle, Vice President of Hospitality, delivered welcome remarks that highlighted the vision behind the Fort George transformation and the role of the new conference centre in shaping Belize’s future in hospitality. His presentation, supported by dynamic visuals, emphasised excellence, community, and opportunity.

Guests were treated to presentation narrated by Sales Director Sherlyn Sinclair, offering a compelling overview of the Fort George area and the Lord Ashcroft Conference Centre. The visuals captured the elegance and functionality of the space, designed to host world-class events while embracing Belizean culture.

Speeches from  Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Mayor Bernard Wagner added depth to the evening. Their messages reflected pride in Belize’s progress and a shared commitment to growth and development.

The evening was enriched by vibrant cultural entertainment, featuring traditional drumming and Jankunu dancers. The performances celebrated Belize’s heritage and added a festive rhythm to the launch.
