Is ATIPS Investigating Wagiya SC?

Since Tuesday, News Five has been requesting details from police regarding their operations at Moss’s clubhouse. Acting Commissioner of Police Bart Jones had committed to providing details but never followed through. So today when we caught up with him in Dangriga, we asked him for those details. Here’s what he had to say.

“My apologies, I have to get back with him. Because of work related issues, I was unable to communicate with the commanders of the Anti- Trafficking in Persons Unit to find out where we are with that particular matter, so then I will reach back out on that. That has not been brought to my attention in terms of that investigation. Perhaps the commissioner Rosado, before he went on leave, may have been briefed on it, so I will have to be briefed if there is in fact a case or report being followed up and respond to the questions, if any.”
