BPBL Issues Regular Season Individual Awards

Following our preview of the BPBL Finals, we caught up with League CEO Gilbert Gordon at the league’s first awards event this afternoon. The ceremony recognized standout performers, including the regular season MVP and the most outstanding athletes in various categories. Gordon shared more details with us.

“We have seen the overall competitiveness of this league. In this overall tournament we had like forty plus games being played. And within those forty plus games, only five were more than ten points. All the games were very close, even within the conference finals, we saw the two games, they won by just two points. So, the competitiveness is there, and the teams can also be able to pay their bills and the model that we have utilized is working and we can only see a bright future for the Belize Premier Basketball League.”
