Budna Investigation Report To Be Submitted on Tuesday
Assistant Commissioner of Police Suzette Anderson is expected to submit her investigative report on the Joseph Budna abduction case to the Prime Minister tomorrow. Acting ComPol Bart Jones says he will get an opportunity to review the findings. Prime Minister John Briceño has already indicated that the findings of that report will determine the next steps moving forward. ComPol Jones echoed those sentiments today.

“Yes, the report will be handed in by tomorrow.”
Reporter
“Willy you be seeing it, reviewing?”
Bart Jones
“The reported will be handed in tomorrow, so I cannot see it before it is handed it.”
Reporter
“So you will see it?”
Bart Jones
“Yes, I will see the report.”
Zenida Lanza
“What happens going forward?”
Bart Jones
“That will depend on what is contained in that report. So it would be premature to say what will happen in the absence of that.”
Reporter
“Have you in any routine way, review the surveillance video.”
Bart Jones
“As I have indicated I did not and it is not because of any disinterest but the investigation is ongoing and I will allow that to go through.”
Reporter
“You are to protect law and order in this country, everybody in society has seen it, why not the chief police officer.”
Bart Jones
“AS I have said, all of that in due time will be addressed.”
Reporter
“But aren’t you curious?”
Bart Jones
“All of that will be addressed in proper time.”
