Early Morning Shooting Leaves Kevan Hamilton Injured

An early morning ride in Belize City nearly turned deadly for twenty-nine-year-old Kevan Hamilton on Sunday. Just before three o’clock on T Street, two gunmen ambushed him, opening fire as he passed on his motorcycle. Hamilton was struck but managed to get himself to the KHMH, where he’s now listed in stable condition. Police are now searching for the shooters, but so far, no suspects have been named, and investigators say it’s still unclear if the attack was gang related.

“Sunday at 2:55 am police responded to a shooting at T Street in Belize City. Upon their arrival, they found Kevan Hamilton with a gunshot injury. He reported that he was on his motorcycle when two persons came out and fired shots at him. He went to the KHMH for treatment where he is in a stable condition. We have no suspects for this shooting at this time.”
