No Signs of Foul Play in Body Found, Police Say
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man whose body was found floating in the sea near Southern Foreshore, Belize City, on Sunday.
Police described the deceased as a dark-complexioned male.
He was found “unresponsive in the sea near Southern Foreshore,” said Stacy Smith, Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Police say there were “no signs of foul play or violence” on the body and “no identifying marks of significance have been identified.”
“We ask those members of the general public who have relatives and they fit that description to visit the Raccoon Street or Queen Street Police Station, providing a photograph to assist police with identifying this individual,” Smith added.
