Police ID Man Found Dead Near Foreshore

We have an update tonight on that mysterious death investigation from Sunday. Police have now confirmed the identity of the man found lifeless, he’s thirty-year-old Adrian Victor Bood, a Belizean national with no fixed address. His body was discovered floating in the sea near Southern Foreshore, Belize City. Authorities say Bood’s body was identified by his sister, bringing some closure to a case that raised many questions. So far, investigators say there are no signs of foul play.

“Police are currently seeking to ascertain the identity of a dark complexion male person whose unresponsive body was found in the sea near Southern Foreshore, Belize City, on October twelfth. What police have learned so far is that the person is known to have taken up residence in the streets of downtown Belize City and this has been confirmed by several persons in that area. However, his specific particulars are unknown and, consequently, we ask those members of the general public who have relatives and they fit that description given, to visit the Raccoon Street or the Queen Street Police Station, providing a photograph to assist police with identifying this individual.”
