Belize’s Paris Cawich Heads to Miss Earth 2025 in the Philippines
Miss Earth Belize 2025, Paris Cawich, is set to represent Belize at the 25th Miss Earth Pageant in Manila, Philippines, on November 5. She departs the country on Saturday with a farewell event planned at the Philip Goldson International Airport.
The 20-year-old is studying international business and has made environmental advocacy her mission, which played an important role in her victory as Miss Earth Belize 2025.
“My first pageant was more about modelling. Now it’s about advocating for something I hold dear, the environment,” she said during Thursday’s episode of Open Your Eyes.
Her campaign focuses on protecting Belize’s mangroves and rainforests. She said she’s been visiting schools, planting trees, and creating engaging social media videos to teach young people about the importance of caring for the Earth.
“The Miss Earth pageant is an environmentally based pageant, so its main focus is protecting the environment and reaching the wider audience with our platforms,” she explained.
Paris teased that her national costume is inspired by “a tree that many Belizeans hold dear.” This was submitted online in the form of a video showcase.
Following Destiny Wagner’s historic Miss Earth win in 2021, Paris says she’s ready to make Belize proud once again.
