President Donald Trump has renewed threats against Hamas, saying several Middle Eastern allies are ready to send forces into Gaza if the group violates the ceasefire. He did not name the countries but thanked Indonesia for its regional support.

Trump said he told these allies and Israel to wait, expressing hope that Hamas would honour its commitments. “I told these countries, and Israel, ‘NOT YET!’ There is still hope that Hamas will do what is right,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that failure to comply would result in a response that is “FAST, FURIOUS, & BRUTAL!”

Vice President JD Vance, currently visiting Israel, expressed cautious optimism about the ceasefire’s future. “We’re in a very good place,” he told reporters, while acknowledging that Hamas disarmament and the recovery of Israeli hostages buried under rubble will take time.

Vance also announced the opening of a US-led Civilian Military Cooperation Centre in Israel to coordinate aid and reconstruction. The facility will host 200 American troops, but none will enter Gaza.
