Suspect Nabbed After 3 A.M. Burglary in Ladyville

A Ladyville woman’s terrifying early-morning encounter has led to a quick arrest. Police say twenty-eight-year-old Freddy Vasquez is now facing burglary charges after investigators linked him to a break-in on Perez Road. It happened around three a.m. on October twenty-second, when the homeowner woke up to strange noises and found a man rummaging through her belongings. Thanks to swift police work and help from the community, Vasquez was caught shortly after, and officers even recovered the stolen items.

“Police have formally arrested and charged twenty-eight-year-old Freddy Vasquez of thirteen miles Phillip Goldson Highway for the offense of burglary. This arrest follows an investigation into the burglary that occurred Perez Road, Ladyville Village where a female reported that on October twenty-second, sometime around three a.m., she was awakened by an unusual noise in her home. Upon making inquiries, she encountered a male person who then proceeded to rummage through her house and packaging a number of items before making good his escape. As a consequence of police investigation, as well as the assistance of members of the public, police were able to apprehend Mr. Vasquez shortly after the incident and recovered the stolen items.”
