Neighbors Save Woman’s Car from Arson Attempt
An alleged arson attempt in Orange Walk was stopped, thanks to quick-thinking neighbors. Reports say a woman had just returned home when she got word that someone was trying to set her car on fire. She immediately called the police, and when officers arrived, they found flammable liquids inside the vehicle. ASP Stacy Smith shares more on this alarming incident.

“Police are investigating an arson. Which occurred on twenty-sixth of October, 2025 in Orange Walk at approximately twelve thirty a.m. The complainant stated that she would have arrived at her home and sometime shortly thereafter, she was alerted by neighbors that her vehicle being a Toyota Corolla car was on fire. Police responded, and upon review of the scene bottles containing apparent accelerant were found, and this investigation continues.”
