One Dead, Three Injured in Central Farm Motorcycle Collision
One man is dead and three injured following a tragic road collision in Central Farm. The incident unfolded on Friday night. Twenty-eight-year-old Keith Guzman of Santa Elena lost his life at the scene following a collision involving two motorcycles. He was riding with Antonio Castillo, while the other bike was occupied by Peter Vasquez and Sucely Bogaert. It’s a devastating blow for Guzman’s family and for the wider public as Belize greaves the loss of another young member of society. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stacy Smith, has more details on the incident.

“On Friday, seventh November, 2025 at approximately nine ten p.m., acting upon information, police responded to the scene of a fatal road traffic accident, which occurred between mile sixty-three and sixty-four on the George Price Highway. The responding officers observed four persons on the road with varying degrees of injury to their bodies, and two motorcycles that were damaged. One of the injured person who was subsequently identified as Keith Guzman, a twenty-eight-year-old Ian laborer of Santa Elena Town succumbed to his injuries that he sustained on the scene of the accident. While the other three individuals were transported to the hospital for medical attention, these three individuals are now listed to be in a stable condition. What the ongoing investigation has so far revealed is that the motorcycles were traveling in opposite direction, where it is alleged that one of the motorcycle attempted to overtake a vehicle, and in the course of doing so, it collided with the other motorcycle. The collision resulting in the injury of Peter Vasquez, Sucely Bogaert, who were traveling on one of the motorcycle and the death of Keith Guzman and the injury of Antonio Castillo who were traveling on the other motorcycle. The body of Keith Guzman now awaits a post mortem examination.”

“I noted that no helmets were seen on the individuals. But I believe helmets were found on the scene, so that may suggest that they were just not fastened.”
