‘OJ’ To Stand Trial For Rape Next Year

Attorney Orson “OJ” Elrington is set to stand trial after he was accused of rape in 2023.

Elrington’s trial has been scheduled to begin on February 23rd, 2026, and end on March 6th.

The allegation stems from an incident on January 12th, 2023. A woman in her mid-20’s reported to police that she met Elrington at a nightclub and later went to his home. She claims the assault happened there.

At the time, former Commissioner of Police Chester Williams stated that one woman claimed she became unconscious and woke up next to Elrington in a semi-nude state, with no memory of what transpired.

Elrington has denied the accusation. He was charged with rape in March 2024 and granted bail of $8,000.

Elrington is being represented by Senior Counsel Hubert Elrington and attorney Alifah Elrington.
