Human Skeletal Remains Found in Orange Walk

A police investigation is underway after human skeletal remains were found in the Orange Walk District.

The grim find was made around 10 o’clock this morning, near the Orange Walk Bypass. Officers responding to the scene located a small wooden house about half a mile from the main road, where the remains were found inside.

According to reports, a passerby made the discovery. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition.

Authorities say DNA testing will be conducted to confirm the identity of the deceased as investigations continue.
