Minister Usher Rejects the Prime Minister

Sources inside Cabinet have confirmed to News Five that Minister Henry Charles Usher has refused to take up his new ministerial portfolio, which includes the Ministry of Home Affairs, which was previously held by his brother, Kareem Musa.

We are told that Usher prefers to remain in charge of the Ministry of Public Service, Governance, and Disaster Risk Management.

Our sources also shared that the Ministry of Home Affairs is now under the leadership of Belmopan Area Representative Oscar Mira, adding to his portfolio of National Defence and Border Security.
