Man Charged With Teen’s Attempted Murder

Two men have been detained in connection to a stabbing incident that occurred in Dangriga Town last week. The victim, 18-year-old Gevin Armstrong, was socialising at Island Breeze Bar and Grill on Wednesday night when “an unknown male person approached him and inflicted the injury to him.”

When police arrived, they were informed that Armstrong had already been transported to the Southern Regional Hospital. ASP Stacy Smith confirmed that one of the two men has been charged. “One of whom has been charged with attempted murder and is expected to be arraigned in front of the Dangriga Magistrate Court,” she said.

According to police, Armstrong remains in a stable condition.
