Driver Arrested for Death of RTA Victim Daniel Puerto
Today, police arrested and charged forty-seven-year-old Michael McFadzean, a driver from Teakettle Village, following a deadly incident that claimed the life of seventy-year-old Daniel Puerto. The incident occurred on November sixteenth, along the George Price Highway in Roaring Creek Village. According to police reports. Puerto was seated on the roadway when he was struck by a minivan, however, several witnesses claimed that Puerto, who was allegedly intoxicated, had been in the process of crossing the road when he was hit and dragged a short distance up the road by the vehicle. Authorities confirmed that McFadzean faces multiple charges, including Manslaughter by Negligence, Causing Death by Careless Conduct, and Driving Without Due Care and Attention.
