Family Beloved Vendor “Pie Bwai” Seeks Answers
The family of long-time vendor Wayne “Pie Bwai” Myles is left behind trying to understand why anyone would target a resident so loved in the Old Capital.
The 61-year-old was found on Friday night, lying face up in his apartment with a gunshot wound to the upper left side of his body.
His brother, Floyd Myles, described Myles as a humble and nonviolent person, stating, “He never had no problem. He was always all over this City. I found this strange with what happened.”
Floyed said selling pastries and going around the city was “something he liked to do from small,” a routine that continued in his sixties. “From when I was 11 years old, up to now that i’m 58, he’s been selling his food stuff. He never had no problem, he was always all over this City. So, I found this strange with what happened,” Floyd added.
The family is now wanting answers. “I found this strange with what happened… I wish the police would deal with this soon. My family members them nuh happy about what happened.”
