Belize Bank Marks 13 Years of Christmas Cheer
For the thirteenth year in a row, Belize Bank is bringing the holiday spirit to the students and staff of Stella Maris Primary School with its annual Christmas party. The event has become a cherished tradition, giving children gifts from Santa and a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings. For some students, it is the only Christmas party they attend and the only gift they receive during the season. That is why organizers of the event ensure the children have a memorable time.

“This year we did some type of carnival team where they have different activities from bounce the house to. Popcorn, snow cones. There is a basketball area and then the 360 camera that they get to dance. That’s one of their favorite things. All of them love to dance. We are playing musical chairs later on. And then we are going to do the lunch. We are having the lunch at eleven-thirty. Our CEO is expected to be here for lunch with the kids. After that, it’s the most anticipated Santa visit. Everybody gets quiet, they sit down. Everybody listens because they know Santa is coming. Bearing gifts for everyone.”

“I could see the excitement and the joy on all of my students’ faces. I see some of them playing basketball outside, some are on the bouncy house and right now, they are enjoying the musical chair. What I did was ask them to do a Santa wish list. Something that they would want. Maybe it could be a truck, maybe it could be a dog. You know, something on the wish list and I’m sure that Belize Bank will make sure that happens when Santa arrives.”
