Robbers on Motorcycle Attempt to Hold Up Delivery Worker

Police are being asked to investigate a reported attempted armed robbery involving two men on a motorcycle who allegedly tried to rob a delivery worker in Belize City.

The incident occurred near the corner of 1st Street and St. Peter’s Street in front of Ceviche Express on Saturday afternoon.

According to a witness, the delivery man, an employee of a tortilla factory, was approached around 4:00 p.m. by two individuals who pointed a firearm at him and demanded money. The suspects reportedly fled the scene after bystanders shouted at them.

No injuries were reported.
