Orange Walk Electrician Arrested in Cocaine Bust
A 36-year-old man from Trinidad Village, Orange Walk, was arrested on New Year’s Eve after police found cocaine in his home.
Officers executed a late-night anti-narcotics operation in Orange Walk District, seizing 21 grams of the drug.
“The search, which was conducted in the presence of Cawich, resulted in the discovery of a plastic bottle, which contained seven transparent bags, each containing several parcels of what is believed to be cocaine,” said ASP Stacy Smith.
Henry Cawich, an electrician, has since been formally charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
