Police Wrap up 2025 with Cocaine Bust in Orange Walk

Police arrested a thirty-six-year-old Trinidad Village man during a late-night anti-narcotics operation in Orange Walk District on December thirty-first. Acting on intelligence, officers searched the residence of Henry Cawich and seized twenty-one grams of cocaine. Assistant Superintendent of Police. “On Wednesday, thirty-first of December at approximately nine forty p.m., officers attached to the anti-narcotics unit with the aid of canine personnel executed a search warrant at the residence of Henry Cawich, located in Trinidad Village in Orange Walk District. The search which was conducted in the presence of Cawich, resulted in the discovery of a plastic bottle, which contained seven transparent bags, each containing several parcels of what is believed to be cocaine. As a consequence of this discovery, police formerly arrested and charged Henry William Cawich, a thirty-six-year-old Belizean electrician of Trinidad Village for the offense of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to the weight of twenty-one grams of cocaine.”
