On Sunday afternoon, shock swept through shoppers at New Moon Supermarket in Ladyville when a man was found in the parking lot, bearing multiple stab wounds to his chest. Twenty-six-year-old Patrick Uh had reportedly been drinking in the area prior to his death. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stacy Smith says police are reviewing surveillance footage of the scene.

“The investigators upon their arrival at the scene observed the unresponsive body of a male person who was later learned to be Patrick Uh, a twenty-six–year-old Belizean driver of Lords Bank village. The body of Mr. Uh exhibited apparent stab wounds. Police are in the process of reviewing a number of video footages, and it is hope that these footages will assist in the ongoing investigation.”

Uh’s body was identified by his common-law-wife, Roxana Aldana. She said he often stayed out drinking and would come home in the early hours, leaving her fearing the worst.
