Police Hold Woman in Deadly Franks Eddy Accident

Police in Franks Eddy Village detained a woman they believe was driving drunk when she ran over a man, killing him. ACP Hilberto Romero says officers collected samples from Andrea Reyes, and she’s expected to be charged for the death of Elgar Estrada. Here’s more.

“On Sunday the first day of march police responded to a fatal road traffic accident at Frank’s Eddy Village. Upon the arrival they saw the lifeless body of a male person identified as Elgar Estrada. Estrada was in the area when he was hit by a vehicle driven at the time by Andrea Reyes. Andrea Reyes was taken into custody pending charges. We suspect she was under the influence of alcohol so a sample was taken, and it will be forward to the forensic laboratory.”
