Drive‑By Shooting Leaves Belize City Man in Critical Condition
Police are investigating a shooting that left a 26-year-old man hospitalised in critical condition.
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 5, around 11:25 p.m. Police said Tyrel Andrewin, an unemployed Belizean, was inside his vehicle on Plues Street when a van pulled alongside and a passenger fired several shots at him.
Andrewin was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital by a family member, where he remains in critical condition.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting
