News Five Addresses January 19th Story on PC Pou

On January nineteenth, in our report on the Joseph Budna case, we incorrectly stated that Police Constable Gabriel Pou was “pressured into giving a false statement.” That was wrong. PC Pou did not make any such statement, nor was he forced to do so. We made an error. We apologize to PC Pou for this error and for any distress and reputational harm it may have caused him. We retract the statement attributing this to PC Pou. We have since corrected our online reports on this incident.
