GOB Supplies Water Pipes to Four Cayo Villages

Four villages in the Cayo District are set to expand their water systems after receiving a shipment of pipes from the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development and Local Government.

The pipes were officially handed over on Wednesday to the water boards of San Antonio, Santa Teresita, El Progresso, and Ontario/Blackman Eddy to support the expansion of their existing water distribution systems.

Officials say the materials will help the communities extend pipelines to serve new households as the villages continue to grow and ensure residents can maintain reliable access to potable water.

The ministry noted that improving water infrastructure in rural areas remains part of its broader effort to strengthen community services and support development in villages across the country.
