Police Seize 17 Kilos of Cannabis in San Pedro Operation

Police seized more than 17 kilograms of cannabis during a joint intelligence operation north of San Pedro Town on Tuesday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m., law enforcement conducted searches near a seaside mangrove area and discovered a large black crocus bag containing twenty-nine black plastic-wrapped rectangular bricks of cannabis. The total weight of the drugs was 17.4 kilograms (38.36 pounds).

The seized cannabis was labeled, sealed, and officially recorded as found property, and further investigations are underway.

No arrests were reported at the scene.
