Top officials from Belize and Mexico’s State of Quintana Roo came together in Belize City on Thursday, signaling a renewed push to deepen cross‑border cooperation and drive regional growth. The meeting zeroed in on updating a long‑standing memorandum of understanding, with discussions centered on boosting investment, coordinating industrial development, and strengthening links between Belize’s transportation system and Mexico’s ambitious Tren Maya project.
