For women trying to turn small ideas into thriving businesses, help is on the way. A new, multi‑year initiative launched by NIME Belize is opening doors to funding, mentorship, and hands‑on support, especially for women entrepreneurs in rural communities. The program aims to break down long‑standing barriers that keep women‑led businesses from growing and scaling. NIME Belize President Katia Montenegro‑Hoare says the focus goes beyond start‑ups, targeting sustainability, confidence, and real economic impact for women across the country. She explains how the project will work and who stands to benefit.
