An early morning police operation in Corozal Town has led to the arrest of three individuals, including two minors, after officers reportedly intercepted them with a loaded firearm. Twenty-year-old Brandon Sanker, along with two teenagers aged sixteen and seventeen, are now jointly charged with illegal firearm and ammunition possession as police continue targeted operations in the northern district. “Corozal police are formerly arrested and jointly charged twenty-year-old Brandon Sanker and two male minors, age sixteen and seventeen, respectively of Corozal Town for the offense of kept firearm without a gun license and kept ammunition without a gun license. These charges are as a consequence of police’s execution of an operation on Narcie Street at around 12:15 a.m. on Monday, six April. The three male persons were intercepted during the course of this operation and in their midst was a nine-millimeter pistol BGR-Nine Elite containing seventeen live rounds of nine millimeter ammunition.”
