Police Investigate Rape of Minor

Police are investigating a report of rape involving a 16-year-old female in the Stann Creek District.

Authorities say the report was made on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at approximately 9:45 a.m., when the minor, accompanied by her father, visited a police station and reported the incident.

According to police, the teenager stated that on March 25, 2026, around 2:30 p.m., a male individual had sexual intercourse with her against her will in the district.
