Trained K‑9s Lead Successful Drug Operation in Lord’s Bank
Last week’s drug bust in Lord’s Bank village was largely attributed to the work of the department’s K-9 Unit. Today’ ASP Stacy Smith further highlighted the unit’s work and spoke briefly about the training the K-9s and their handlers continuously undergo.

“The K9 Unit is a very integral part of the department’s weaponry or artillery when it comes to fighting crime. We have been training the officers that are attached to the unit and we continue to train the K9s for them to assist. Yes indeed from last week’s seizure in Lord’s Bank, the K9 was of great use to that operation.”
