“Police are investigating the murder of 29-year-old Jose Marvin Alvarado Ramos, which occurred on Sunday, 10th May 2026, just before 10 o’clock PM in Pomona Village, Stann Creek district. What we have learned so far in the course of this investigation is that Ramos had left from inside his room and went near a mango tree and it is alleged that a male person came from out of an orange orchard that was located across the street and fired several shots in his direction, fatally wounding him before retreating back into the orange orchard. No motive has been established in this ongoing investigation.”
Police say no suspects have been identified and the motive for the killing remains unclear. Police investigations into these three murders continue.
