Two Charged in Unitedville Murder

Police have formally arrested and charged 27-year-old Jevon Ramclam and a 15-year-old male minor for the murder of Allen Geovanni Gongora, who was gunned down inside his Unitedville home on Tuesday night.

The charges were brought on Thursday, May 21, following a fast-moving investigation that initially led to the detention of seven people, six men and one woman. ASP Stacy Smith said the operation was launched after residents reported hearing gunfire around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and saw a man fleeing the scene towards a black SUV, which sped off in the direction of Belmopan.

Smith confirmed the incident is believed to be drug‑related, noting Gongora’s home was known locally as a drug base.

While Ramclam and the minor now face murder charges, the status of the other five detainees has not been officially clarified.
