Ottleys Caught with over 150 Grams of Cocaine

Police made several arrests on illegal gun charges and, during a targeted anti-drug operation in Belize City, detained two individuals after uncovering a significant quantity of suspected cocaine. Officers found more than one hundred and fifty grams of the drug during a search. ASP Stacy Smith says police have since charged both suspects with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

“As a consequence of targeted anti-drug operation by Eastern Division personnel, police have formally arrested and charged Corey Ottley and Theresa Ottley of Vasquez Avenue, Kings Park, Belize City, for the offense of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. This follows police’s discovery of one hundred and fifty-four grams of suspected cocaine during a search of their residence.”

 

The arrest formed part of the wider nationwide anti-drug and weapons operation conducted between this week involving specialized police units and regional formations across the country.
