ACC’s Student Attire Warning Form Raises Questions
News 5 has obtained a copy of the form issued by Anglican Cathedral College (ACC) to parents when students are flagged for breaching the school’s Attire and Personal Appearance Policy.
The form identifies the student and states that he or she “is in violation of the school’s Attire and Personal Appearance Policy found in the student handbook.”
It then provides a checklist for the administration to mark the specific issue, including “uniform,” “band/belt,” “haircut,” or “hairstyle.”

According to the form, “Failure to comply with this request will result in your child not being permitted to enter the school compound until the matter is resolved.”
Meanwhile, in an earlier statement, ACC said that “at no point was any student denied access to classes or instructed not to attend school” and rejected reports that “suggest a student was sent home or barred from returning to school due to their hairstyle or the use of hair extensions.”
