Armed Robbery Caught on Camera in San Antonio Village

Police are investigating another armed robbery. The robbery occurred on Monday at the Cross Road Grocery Store in San Antonio Village, Cayo District, at about 3:00 pm.

A 38-second video released by the San Antonio Village Council shows a man armed with a firearm pointing it at the person behind the counter.

The robber is seen wearing sandals, black pants, and a black hoodie pulled over his head. He was not wearing a mask. The footage shows him demanding that an undisclosed amount of cash be placed into a black bag while threatening shoppers inside the store.

In a statement, the San Antonio Village Council said, “According to the information we have is that the suspect is not from our community.”

The council urged residents to remain alert and report suspicious activity.
